Dr. Naser joins UNYP with a broad background both in academia and professional experience. He has an M.A. degree in American Literary and Cultural Studies from Charles University in Prague, an M.A. and Ph.D. in Economics from the Faculty of International Relations of the University of Economics in Prague, and an M.A. in Applied Economics from CERGE-EI. He has worked for the Czech National Bank, the Czech Ministry of Finance and the European Commission in Brussels, doing both policy work and analytical work. His main areas of interest include financial stability, macroeconomics, financial markets, and ethics in business. With his personal and professional international background, Dr. Naser also brings an international frame of mind to the university.
