Václav Chvalovský teaches several management courses on the undergraduate programme at UNYP, namely Project Management, Business Policy and Strategic Management, and Business Strategy and serves as an academic mentor on the programme.
Václav received a Postgraduate Degree in Economics/Management (CSc.) from the Czech Academy of Science. He has taught in higher education since 1976, first on the two year tenure at the University of Nairobi in Kenya working as a senior lecturer and the Director of the Institute of Computer Science, then at the University of Economics in Prague (part-time). His extensive professional experience includes working as a programmer, IT manager, project manager, sales manager and business development executive in this country as well as in the UK and USA. In addition to teaching, Václav also works as a consultant and professional trainer on various projects for local companies and multinational corporations. He wrote 5 professional books (IT, management and project management) and has published over 100 professional articles locally and abroad, and is an avid hiker and mountaineer.
