David Levčík is a researcher at the Institute of Physiology of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague. He studies how the brain encodes behavioral and cognitive processes in health and disease. Dr. Levčík's research focuses on the representation of spatiotemporal information in the brain. Recently, he has also been studying social behavior and social memory encoding in animal models of Alzheimer's disease. Dr. Levčík completed his postdoctoral studies at the Federal University of Paraná (Curitiba, Brazil) and also was a visiting scholar at the University of California (San Diego, USA).
